Description Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with Australian accounting standards. Manage month-end and year-end financial reporting processes. Analyse financial data to provide insights and support decision-making. Oversee the reconciliation of accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage audits. Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll and tax obligations. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Profile A successful Senior Financial Accountant should have: A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Professional certification such as CPA or CA (or working towards it). Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Effective communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
